Debra Purcell-Regis is a retired teacher who has remained active in the community so she could still interact with her town’s young people and remain a force for good. Purcell-Regis retired from teaching after twenty-five years in the classroom, teaching mostly History and Literature, two subjects she finds go very well together when learning about other cultures and her own.
